Coaching

Mersey Bowmen has a dedicated club tennis coach, providing innovative, fun and rewarding sessions for adults and juniors, members and non-members in both one-to-one and group environments. All members are entitled to six weeks’ free group coaching sessions over the summer months, and can also choose from individual and group sessions:

Ritchie Forde

Qualified to LTA Level 1 (ECA) and Level 2 (CCA) standard, Ritchie has nearly 20 years’ experience at coaching a range of different levels, from beginners to top club standard.

He has a track record of developing new players and beginners, a number of whom now play in the league teams at Mersey Bowmen and other clubs across the region.

Whether you’ve never picked up a tennis racket before, fancy a refresher course, or simply want to improve your game for the league season, speak to Ritchie about a range of group and one-to-one coaching sessions.

Ritchie runs one-to-one coaching sessions run throughout the year, both indoors and out, plus the free group lessons take place on Wednesday nights over the summer months, for a six week period.
